Working Out is Exhausting!

Laura just emailed me this picture of the boys following her workout with the Stapleton Hot Mamas group.

Sorry about the clarity of the picture. She took it on her cell phone camera. This is how I feel after a long ride or run. :)

Update - Security Feature Has Been Disabled

Hi folks. No new pictures in this post. I just wanted to announce that we've disabled the security feature from the blog. I didn't realize that it requires you to sign up for a Google account. I've heard through the grapevine that some folks were a little leery of doing that. Ergo, I have disabled the log-in feature.

Now, on to an update. The boys are doing very well! Will is rapidly catching up to Alex in the crawling and advancing to walking stages. He's pulling himself up to a standing position, and has tried standing unaided a couple of times.

Alex has taken a few, awkward steps, but never very far. He'll hold onto the coffee table or the couch and then take 2 or 3 steps toward me and then put his hand on my leg to keep himself upright. We'll get some video footage up as soon as we can!

One other little story... I had one of those "I'll remember this forever" moments when I came home from work last week. I walked in the door, and Will and Alex were playing in the pantry, with Laura watching over them. As I walked in, she said "Look who's home, boys!" Alex looked over and saw me, and got this HUGE smile on his face, let out a squeal of delight, and crawled as fast as he could over to me at the door. Then, he sat up and stretched his arms out as if to say "Daddy! Pick me up now!" It was the most precious thing ever! Anyway... just figured I'd share.

More pictures and video will be coming in the near future.

Estes Park Pictures

Finally, pictures!! Matt, Shauna, Lisa and I took the boys on their first hike and they had a blast! We went to Nymph Lake and Dream Lake for a total of about 2 miles. I can't wait until they're a little older and we can go hiking all the time. I also included some pics from the hike up to Lake Haiyaha that Shauna, Lisa and I took. It's hard to get tired of Rocky Mountain National Park!

Sorry about the picture presentation...I'm not very good...
