Pre-Christmas 2007

We were in Magnolia for Christmas this year, and so prior to the Big Day, we went down to Katy to see Courtney, Cliff, Emma, Vivian and Princess. We were lucky that Dan and Lisa also made the trip! It was so much fun to see them, that I wish Mom, Dad, Orvis, John, Darby, Eli and Boone (and Reese and AJ) could have made it, too. But, we had a great time, and got some really terrific pictures.

Duck and Aunt Lisa really hit it off!

Will and his Aunt Lisa had a great time together. Will is fascinated with electronic and computer equipment. Luckily, Courtney and Cliff had an old computer lying around. Will played with the keyboard for hours.

And yet another picture of Will and Aunt Lisa with the keyboard. I love this one because of the picture of Alex in the background. He loves to be turned upside down, and I was having a lot of fun with him.

Alex and the Cucumber Alex received a plush Veggie Tales toy from Cliff, Courtney and the girls. We had a lot of fun sticking it in the back of his suspenders and watching try to get it out. He looked like a dog chasing his tail!

Here's Alex coming to beg his Aunt Courtney to take the cucumber off his back. Yes, that's a pirate cucumber. I'm told his name is "Larry," and that he's one of the Pirates Who Don't Do Anything. I'm sure I'll get to know all about the pirates.

Presents!!!

I think the boys are starting to get the hang of Christmas. They became fairly enthusiastic about opening their gifts. Of course, they were, for the most part, more excited by the paper and boxes than the actual gifts.

Here we are at the end of present time. Superman was hanging with Uncle Cliff, while Duck went back to the keyboard.

Some Miscellaneous Pictures

Uncle Cliff is REALLY funny! Alex had a ball with Cliff. Alex likes to rough-house, and Cliff was up to the challenge. Of course, he couldn't let go of the dustpan.

And here he is posing with Aunt Courtney. Still holding onto (and apparently, now tasting) the dustpan.

Will was content to sit and enjoy many of the toys... although he stopped occasionally to taste the strings. :)

And finally, the group shot. Once Laura got the delayed timer working, we took a big group photo. Believe it or not, this is the one in which I look the least gay. :)
