When Laughter Turns to Tears

I came home today, opened the door, and heard my sweet, delicate flower of a wife screaming at the top of her lungs upstairs. I immediately knew something must be up with the boys, because she usually reserves that kind of exasperation and despair for their antics (although it's an almost daily occurrence these days).

As I ventured upstairs, I noticed many discolored spots on the carpet and walls. The telltale sign of the contents of her makeup case strewn about the steps provided the only clue I needed to understand the depth of her despair. Needless to say, it was a trying evening.

But this is video Laura captured just prior to discovering the mess on the stairs. Little did she know that her laughter would soon turn to tears.

Anyone know how to get lipstick out of the carpet and off your walls?

Oh, dear! I hate to laugh . . . but that video is really funny! If I can find any good tips on getting out lipstick, I'll pass them along. Gee, was I ever lucky. When the "Old Perkins Twins" were little, the worst I remember was toilet paper strewn all over the place. That was pretty easy to clean up.

Oh my goodness! I had to laugh, but I understand how it could turn to tears! I love how Will took a bite of the chapstick, too. I will not be showing Eli this video...don't want him to get any ideas!
